FYI (for your information), the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) has officially confirmed with the CMCIA (Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association) that legal cannabis acquired from licensed producers can be claimed as a legitimate medical expense — a tax deduction, with a physician’s prescription or order of course.

So this is the official 411 on the tax deductibility of 420 medical treatments, but a potential problem is the potentially high cost of medical cannabis or CBD from a licensed producer could quickly result in a 911.

Then again, this could be a 222 on a new leaf.
